Normal People 2020
What I absolutely love in this is how they play with the background noise. It kinda sets a pleasant disturbance, and it's subtly always there. Be it a slight calm in the house, the raindrops on the window, the birds chirping, noise from the people walking and talking. Somehow, it sets the perfect sense of the environment with what the characters are feeling.
And even the characters grow beautifully while being fundamentally the same.
