I had forgotten how truly wonderful this film is until I watched it again just a few weeks ago. Douglas and Benning have amazing chemistry and the dialog is top notch throughout. The kind of movie that makes you feel good for a long time afterwards.

Poor Things 2023
It’s not often I stop a film that I’ve started, but I only made it just past the halfway point of Poor Things. I just could not get into it and the whole premise just made me feel gross. I realize the director makes some bizarre films, but this was just too much for me.

The Haunting of Hill House 2018
Not only is Hill House the best Netflix show, but I truly believe it is one of the greatest shows period! Phenomenal acting from an amazing cast! Such a great character study on how trauma affects people differently. Just enough scares and suspense to qualify as a “horror” series, but it is so much more than that. I’ve watched it through 5 times and probably will again this Fall. Couldn’t recommend this more!
