Dark and Dystopian, The Batman, presents us with a world so similar yet so different from our reality, one can almost feel an eerie sense of resemblance creep into oneself as the movie progresses. Filled with beautiful low light shot the movies visuals are dominated by the deep dark black aesthetic that we expect from a Batman movie. Juxtaposing the dark aesthetic, the movie simultaneously manages to instill a sense of hope into the audience, it’s final message of hope over vengeance being one that a great deal of people would benefit from loving by to a greater extent.
