If this was made today, the guy would be absolutely jacked.

It had its charm among its quirks but it never reached that complete Hammer charm which counteracts the shoddy production quality. But can’t believe that the werewolf was just a German Shepard with a thick mane.
The performances ranged from fun to am dram.

    Overall, okay.

I’m not really seeing an ick from her not gonna lie.

I expected something a bit more intense and shocking based on its reputation. Having a quick read of the novel’s plot summary, it’s incredibly evident that that it was dumbed down for film audiences. A lot of the nuance and layers of the characters and plot seemed to be stripped out. But Bates is terrific and the best part of the film. Interesting to see a softer side of Caan.

    Overall, decent.

Primarily gave this a watch as me and my mate wanted to watch a movie at the cinema that we can’t find on any other film programme (specifically UK ones). Also the fact that the kino listed it as a spaghetti western. But it’s enjoyable and has some heart. A strong start which reminded me of “Shaun of the Dead” in places which then kind of concluded with tripping over itself…

Imagine entrusting a sociopathic conman and all he does is take the piss.

Almost like a playground dynamic where it’s the shy boy who feels left out and his sister starts getting attention from the cool kid. And it’s almost reflected in Piccoli and Aimeé’s performances as I found them so childlike. The way they would sulk, strop across the room and throw tantrums.
I found the dialogue and performances incredibly rich, with the subject matter being quite taboo. I’ll…
