Lost Highway 1997
Never expected to hear Rammstein in a Lynch movie! Of his moves that I’ve seen this felt the most stylistically distinct from the others, I think mostly because of the turn-of-the-millenium score/soundtrack. Some of these needle drops wouldn’t be out of place in a movie like XXX.
Almost plays like a first attempt at Mulholland Drive, but focusing much more on the double identity aspect. There is still the jealousy and infidelity angle, but I feel like Lost Highway suffers…

Wow. Every aspect of this movie was captivating. Great performances, dialogue, cinematography, score (Angelo ❤️), editing, etc etc etc. All-around just great. Lynch is so sneakily good at building tension and making you scared as fuck of a staircase or a hallway.
