Oppenheimer 2023
A great cast with engaging story telling. Effects were really good in both visual and auditory, sometimes using pure silence in a powerful way. Overall really good but was a long haul and very jumpy back and forth into different time periods. However once figured out this wasn’t too bad to keep track of.

Barbie 2023
All round fun film. The script was funny and the cast was a really good fit. Only down side would be that they were ultimately trying to push a big message in a simple and easy going film. Overall was a good laugh and having the right mindset of expecting something fun and not a cinematic masterpiece made it really enjoyable.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny 2023
Had a really good start and quickly declined once silly characters were introduced who pulled the film away from being a classic Indiana jones film. It was a nice attempt to evolve the franchise for a modern audience but personally enraged me a lot. Towards the end it got better and I really enjoyed it, appreciating the nods to the previous films they made and felt they could have made it really stupid but wrapped it up nicely instead. Overall a decent film and would have been rated higher if certain characters were portrayed differently.
