Ein Arschloch, welches sich seiner selbst bewusst ist, ist nicht weniger ein Arschloch; besonders wenn es ein weißer Mann ist. Und wer gut reden kann, dem hör man zu; besonders wenn es ein weißer Mann ist. Und für (systematischen) Rassismus und Sexismus gibt es keine Entschuldigung, auch nicht wenn es um Trauma geht; auch nicht wenn es ein weißer Mann ist; und schon gar nicht, wenn ein Film versucht die Sache hinter Emotionen zu verstecken.
Ich würde den Film gerne weitaus schlechter bewerten, leider ist er aber doch unterhaltsam und Mo war ein großer Lichtblick in diesem Film <3

I was hoping so hard that Michelle was right and Howard just straight up lied to them all the time like some lunatic. Unfortunately that was not the case and I didn't really like how it turned out. Maybe it was because I only watched this while cleaning and didn't give it my full attention but it also felt pretty boring.
[Edit: I did not know anything about the Cloverfield Universe before watching this, no other movies, no shows no nothing.]

They had a beautiful, almost healthy relationship until they didn't. Elena keeps pressing and trying to initiate sexual acts, keeps criticizing Dovydas, keeps painting herself the victim of rejection because he doesn't want to fuck her when that is all she knows to express love and devotion. This movie just makes me mad ngl
