okay, this movie is bad and i like it
appart from the absolute killer soundtrack and gorgeous settings, everything in this movie is average at best and incomprehensible at worst

This short is an absolute bomb.
The atmosphere that this film is able to deliver is really impressive, taking a new approche on the kaiju genre.
Very Evangelion-ish, thanks to Hideaki Anno, and everything works perfectly.
The monotone voice that the narrator takes throughout the whole film transcribes a feeling of despair, yet a strong hope that even in the end of everything, a rebirth is possible as superior beings against whom nothing can compete completely shatters what seemed a peaceful lifetime.
