So many things to comment on, but I’ve genuinely never seen a more accurate on screen portrayal of what’s it’s like to try and get through in a UK working-class postcode state school (since Educating Yorkshire) as ep 2 of this. Deeply unsettling. Also, Stephen Graham’s performance.

I love The Outrun so much for someone who can’t relate to many (if any) of the themes of it, other than being a Scottish girl who love seals and feels alive like this when going for a cold water dip too.
