  had to put my phone down for this film tbh. need to read the book but this is actually beautiful. no notes. can't believe it is a real story and ALSO can't believe some of them are still alive today like what do you even do after going through something like that. graphic and awful obviously but still so respectful and told in a very raw way. miracle and tragedy is the best way to put it, can't remember where I read that but so real. blows my mind it didn't receive more awards. robbed. shocked/horrified xx

  Realistically I cannot give this film a like. yeah it’s a thriller and yeah I was potentially on the edge of my seat the entire time but sooo predictable and just dragged on a bit tbh. Did it need to be 2 hours probs not. Not much else to say bc the acting wasn’t even that great. Nora is kinda humanoid it was freaky

  definitely overhyped online but such a beautiful film and i haven’t cried that hard at a film in ages. Florence pugh and andrew garfield were the perfect picks for their roles imo - both v emotional, they have good screen chemistry, and obvs look so gorg together. i think it’s meant to be predictable but was literally devastating and in a similar way to “about time” makes life feel very precious
