ngl I teared up during this. Not really because of the movie but because there was an older woman and her adult daughter to my right and a mother and her young daughter to my left and it was just kind of a beautiful thing for all of us to be sharing this moment together. Hearing the little kids in the audience go “she’s so pretty!!” when halle was on screen and hearing the woman next to me sing along to part of your world under her breath was what made it special. And yeah, the movie was good I guess :)

the tension. the enemies to lovers. ordinary girl to princess. movies aren’t built like this anymore. Also I never noticed how good the costumes are in this movie?? Anne Hathaway ate up that shit up in EVERY SCENE. That pink and purple poncho when she is walking through the castle?? absolutely legendary. And don’t even get me started about chris pine. He plays the endearing asshole so well. The chemistry between them was insane. I was blushing just watching them. Anyways I’ll stop talking now. I just love this movie.

Can’t even in good faith give this movie one star, even though I’m usually so easily pleased when it comes to romance movies. This was some pro-military conservative bullshit, but instead of talking about that, I want to discuss why miss girl’s hair was always tucked into her shirt. Doesn’t that itch? Don’t you feel a little silly? Also when in this movie do they build any sort of chemistry? I also skipped every single song in this movie.
