bold, colorful, alive and so, so fun.
halfway through movie you’ll start to wonder wether the storyline is maybe a little too glamorized and out of touch (though it’s still massively fun to watch). then you’ll get hit with reality. the following segment balances raw emotion, a certain tragedy that is shown just very subtly, while keeping the comedic tone of the first half of the movie.
anora does such a great job of creating this beautiful, fun, bold main character and then showing her humanity and ways in which she’s vulnerable.
also justice for igor!
