Drive My Car 2021
Someone needs to grab all the directors, DPs, and editors pushing that awful, trendy, desaturated color grading look and force them to watch this movie because MY GOD I have never seen more lifelike and beautiful color grading in my entire life. Everything popped and I audibly gasped everytime they cut to outdoor landscape shots. Day, night, sunny, stormy, artificial lights... Doesn’t matter it looked amazing.
Yeah the writing, acting and cinematography were sublime and I cried like 3 times and whatever blah blah blah BUT THAT COLOR GRADING THOUGH!!!
