Every time I watch Mulholland Drive, it reaffirms to me that David Lynch is the GOAT.
It's a movie that gets better with repeated viewings. Nothing really makes sense on first watch, until you wake up from the dream and everything snaps into place. Like most of Lynch's work, the inner workings of the dream often don't make literal sense, but they're symbolically rich, and each scene works as another angle to understanding Betty's/Diane's tormented subconscious.
