  Not sure I’ve had my heart race or beat like it did watching a non horror like it did in this film (outside of wayan’s 2004 white chicks). Amazing job showing science as exciting with real consequences.  

  Closer to a 9.5/10 rather a 10/10 movie for me, minus some points for some difficulty understanding dialogue (had some tenet flashbacks) and to leave open the possibility that perhaps there’s an even better 2.5 hr movie inside this 3 hr movie.…

  Magic Mike XXL 2015

  This is what I expected the original magic Mike to be. A fun story about friends that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Magic Mike OG got way too dark for no real reason. Honestly watching XXL as a separate entity probably would make it even better, as I spent the first 20 min thinking about what happened to character plot points/developments from Magic Mike 1 that seemed to evaporate. It is best to go into this movie with a blank slate of what you think you know of the characters, and prepare yourself for a light hearted good time.
