ultimately a really beautiful display of two people being so in love and distant at the same time and the ending really fucked me up, however i feel like dan was portrayed the whole time as calm and reasonable with candy being unpredictable and damaged beyond repair which feels a little too easy for this sort of dynamic. i’m just a hater tho, it truly was a rotter!
