Stupid Games is frightful fun from start to finish, with an accessible premise steered by its charismatic cast. Alyssa Tortomasi (Celeste) in particular does a masterful job of helping to establish a tone that suggests something sinister bubbling under the surface of the light humor and relatable conversations that occupy the film’s first act. As things proceed to go further and further off the rails, I found myself anchored in the ensuing horror.
