  Dune: Part Two 2024

  Oh hell yeah! This movie has me ready for an interstellar war. Paul became an ultimate badass and we expanded on the world building a little bit. This movie had me scared of the good guy and excited about the bad guys. I can only hope the next chapter in the saga is an all out brawl between the unknown factions of the universe.

  Star wars meets game of thrones. The world is so wonderfully built that even the names are impressive. Arrakis, Atredies, Shia-Hulud and….Duncan Idaho. Regardless of the variety in nomenclature, I am hooked and ready for the second chapter in this story.

  Was this movie good? No but did it get me through a night at a hotel on Thanksgiving? Yes. The millennial style humor wasn’t very funny but it was at least good enough for a late night background watch. There’s always a place for a Netflix hallmark movie. My favorite part was when one of the main characters love interest simply disappeared. No explanation necessary I guess.
