Great Shakespeare movie about a jolly fat rouge and his asshole prince friend. Never saw or read any of these English monarchy histories and it was a lot sillier than I expected. Also has a very crazy medieval battle scene which seemed way ahead of its time. Subtitles required

A surreal Japanese horror movie. This movie is shot and edited in a way I can only describe as “fever dream”. It is very colorful. The scene transitions sometimes reminded me of Powerpoint slideshow effects in a very endearing way. The film overall feels very idiosyncratic—it feels like it has a very unique touch.
