Good cinematography.
I think we can retire the whole meta "dollhouse that looks like the actual house so we can use shots within the dollhouse for transitions" trope.
The recreated "Heaven's Gate" style footage is really unsettling.

Beautiful photography. Glacial pacing. The scene showcased in the poster is a highpoint. Very much appreciate the focus of "the gaze" in relation to cinema. Might benefit from a rewatch down the line.
