Fun B-side art house work.  Great use of black and white textures.  Inspired lots of future horror films.

If you’re curious to see what I teach or how I see and deconstruct film or others in my profession, watch this piece.  Do not see this if you’ve never seen Wizard of Oz or anything by David Lynch.  I wish I made this work, this actually is how I see basically ALL films.  My mind races through mythology to deep psychological spots to homages to other homages.  Film nerds, “this is him.”

James Mitchem as the evil priest—Love and Hate.  This film was way ahead of the vibe of 1955.  Sinister and campy and creepy and a devilish good time.

Branden, Brandon, Brenden...Frasier, Frazer, Frayzher...whoever he is, he's brilliant in this role. Reads and watches like a play. I was expecting more from the "tilt" here, but Frasier's performance carries this film and haunts you for some time.
