  Look, I can get behind the point of this movie. Home invasion movies are very shallow and repetitive. The problem is that I hated about 70% of this movie. It wasn’t hard to sit through because of what was happening, it was hard to sit through because it was intentionally boring and slow. Shots lasted for minutes too long. There was a large amount of uncomfortable silence, so much that I would start looking around the room for something else to do because I was bored.

  The Descent 2005

  I saw someone say that this movie was really scary, which I didn’t believe. I expected a typical monster suspense film with some gore, but this is actually very well done. The first monster reveal scared the crap out of me. It’s not the best horror movie I’ve ever seen, but it was definitely worth watching to get the creeps.
