  Fantastic use of archival footage. The doc doesn’t overstretch and try and tell too much of the story, just focusing on the first couple of years of the band’s formation. A bit like A Complete Unknown, this means that songs are allowed the full play - doing them the justice they deserve.
  Obviously I’m biased cos I think Led Zeppelin are geniuses, but I don’t usually even like documentaries and was engrossed by this for the whole 2 hours. Footage…

  I left a sunny beer garden to watch this moronic trash. 3 hours of just the same bloke shooting guys in the face, but it felt like I was in there for an eternity.

  I honestly turned this on thinking it would be some sort of Taken-esque watchable fun, with Jason Bourne ripping round Marseille.
  Completely defied expectations. 

  Quite a thoughtful piece exploring cultural divides, family, second chances… sometimes not that subtly, but I think that works very well. 
  Not saying I’d want Matt Damon round for dinner, but he puts in a hell of a performance.
