Decent jump scares. Well done creature design. A grief horror film that doesn't contribute anything new to the conversation really. It didn't stick the landing at the end. Very Babadook-esque but less iconic.

Humane 2024
The premise of this film - interesting. Very fucked up to think about and it doesn't feel that far off which is the scariest part. Unfortunately the script is too on the nose. Predictable. And the acting is very stiff and unbelievable. I have hope for Caitlin Cronenberg's future films, and will be interested in what she creates as she develops her directing skills. This film is her first and it feels like it.
