The Buckingham Murders 2023
Wouldn’t recommend to watch in theatres… Kareena does justice to her character… its a nuanced portrayal of a grieving (police officer) mother who gets assigned to a case that hits where it hurts. Direction and plot, however, are average at best. While some people have appreciated the bg score, I found it a little too loud than the scenes actually demanded.
As a thriller, it is engaging… keeps you hooked but the attempt to evoke empathy for Kareena’s character feels forced. Moreover, I made the mistake of watching it in hindi (most scenes were originally shot in English)
