Didn’t really need the drama part but I found the rest compelling.

A powerful and important message, but I didn’t feel like the techno-dystopian storytelling device added much.

I don’t know anything about filmmaking but this struck me as really beautifully done from the technical perspective. Loved the play of light and dark, the costumes/sets, score, dialogue. Long-ish but kept my attention the whole way through, with some moments being really affecting, to the point where I felt them physically.

Didn’t watch it for the plot, but there were some great kills. Merry Christmas!

A bit too long and perhaps unnecessarily convoluted at times, but I wound up being more invested in this one than I thought I’d be at the outset. Some memorable one-liners from our protagonist delivered with impeccable dry humor.

Nothing particularly inventive, but the kills were a lot of fun. “This year, there will be no leftovers!”

Went in with pretty low expectations but what a fun ride! Very tense, lots of action, well developed characters, and a pretty haunting big bad.

Godspeed, Chinese food werewolf!

Cool fx but lacking substance and not sure about the ending.
