  This ain’t your Batman’s Mama Mia 

  Despite being marketed as ‘Joker the Musical’ this felt more like a finished film with musical elements injected into it to capitalize on the Gaga casting. The musical sections were good, they just felt like an afterthought which could be said for the entirety of this movie, it almost feels like Todd Philips was trying to please too many different people that he ends up “losing the plot” so to speak; which is a shame.

  Slender Man 2018

  I was catatonic for the majority of this movie but I did feel some form of brain activity during the scene where the main girls are on their computer and you see the shadow of Slender man creep up the wall behind them… unfortunately i slipped back into my coma immediately after because that was the only interesting/exciting thing to happen during this entire snooze-a-palooza.

  Hypnotic 2023

  This is the movie equivalent of someone trying to get you with one of those cereal box ‘hand buzzers’ but when you don’t fall for it they spit in your face and yell “Gotcha!”. 

  The movie is called ‘Hypnotic’ so one could assume it’s about hypnotism in some fashion but by all means please shove it down my throat for the next hour and 34 minutes. This might as well be “Babies first mystery thriller”, like I've never felt personally insulted…
