  This movie was so relaxing to watch. Didn’t feel the 2hours at all. Now living in a society where everything is done quickly, everything is obtained quickly and where taking the time to be alone with yourself mostly without digital distraction seems complicated. This reminded us of what it means to take our time, to appreciate small details and what is around us in a very poetic way. A profoundly simple tale of finding peace, meaning, and beauty within the mundanity of day-to-day life.

  I was so into it and completely hooked. Visually, this film was stunning. It’s absolutely beautiful to watch. Andrea Arnold somehow made this «ghetto» English neighborhood look incredible. Especially the nature, she made it feel so poetic. The handheld camera made everything more intense. The movie has a slow pace, but it’s rarely boring because the cinematography is a banger. And some scenes made me laugh.

  Trigger warning: There’s a scene involving domestic violence, and it was really hard for me to watch. Just something to be aware of going in.
