  This was dope! The fact that Mark Ruffalo was 100% channeling Trump and this movie was aggressively anti-capitalist and colonialism is enough for me to love it. Also I’d honestly watch Robert Pattinson in anything but this was a lot of fun. Felt long though…there were definitely moments I was like “alright where are we going with this and how long do we have left”. And some of the messaging was a little heavy handed, I think it would’ve benefited…

  this was nothing that i expected but i kinda loved it! humor didn’t land everytime, but i also had no clue it was supposed to be a comedy so…in some ways i was disappointed that it wasn’t genuine horror, but i was pleasantly surprised by the execution. i feel like there’s a greater message or concept at play here that i’m missing, outside the obvious, but whatever. also this is kinda deadbeat dad representation when you think about it, so that’s cool ig.

  Cheesy and ridiculous but this was actually more fun than I thought it’d be! Mason Gooding is a pleasant surprise for me, handsome obviously, but he was incredibly charming and had great comedic timing and tone. Pretty good chemistry between the two leads as well. But as with most horror/thrillers/slasher films, the final act imo gets cluttered with villain monologues and over the top plot conveniences, which is where I was the most bored and kinda taken out the moment.…
