  man I've been thinking about this movie everyday since i watched it. I need Ophuls' take on attachment theory because it was a *masterclass* in fearful avoidance before it was ever a term. need to rewatch at some point and develop my thoughts further.

  Honestly, for a 41 minute film, this was a bit of a chore to get through. Maybe it's because I watched it near midnight but I've watched many films at odd times of the night, so I'm not quite sure.

  I've come to the realization that perhaps the only way to watch Dr: Strangelove is in the company of friends who love dark comedy as much as you do. Yesterday afternoon, I went with two friends of mine (Dr. Strangelove virgins) to a free screening at my local cinematheque. Oh what an experience.
