Seth Macfarlane as Ted is fucking hilarious, spot on. Mark Whalberg, not so much. He’s phoning it in in this movie and in pretty much everything else he’s in. Besides Boogie Nights, that movie slaps.

    Death Proof

    ★★★½

This film suffers in the first half. It takes forever to really get going. The character building in this first half really only matters for Kurt Russell’s character, as this movie is split into two distinct stories of two groups of friends, with only Kurt’s character ‘Stuntman Mike’ carrying over into the second half.

The second half of the film is a whole other story, literally and figuratively. The best way to describe this group of friends would be totally badass. Without spoiling anything, the action at the end of this film is balancing perfectly between realistic and corny, in the best way possible.

    Hard to Be a God

Hard to be a god, harder to be a viewer. I feel I am very open minded when it comes to experimental cinema, and art pictures. That being said, I was definitely biting off more than I could chew when I chose to watch this. In all my time watching films, I have never seen a more vile, putrid, and downright disgusting film. If you watch this, all I have to say is, be prepared to see fully grown men bare naked and playing in their own shit, blood, and piss. I really didn't need to see so many dicks and asses.
