  Gothic horror will be and always has been one of the hardest sub-genres of horror to do correctly, without sacrificing plot, score, and casting. Generally speaking I find most gothic horror movies to be aesthetically pleasing, moody and dark, with beautiful scenery, but they lack substance.   this is going to be a cult classic in 15 years. it’s witty, sort of gross, and very fun. I think a lot of people who grew up considered outcasts can relate to Lisa. the need to fit in but the drive to stick true to who you are. Love this movie.
