so lovely, wow. I am just always fascinated by the music world -- artists' influences, political/social conditions, the people who are slept on, public reactions, and, who pierces through b/c of unwavering individuality. that's Bob. I don't even listen to him like that, but my appreciation grew tenfold. and Timmy's got that aura. the women kept serving face but I wish they spoke more, like come on, Toshi, Sylvie, Joan!!! (I love you Joan!)

literally incredible. this film tells so many different nuanced stories in a relatively short amount of time. the character arcs/backgrounds are realistic (and have actual flaws & emotions), and the timing of which certain info was unveiled just... made sense. there were so many prime examples of indirect storytelling (e.g., Marcus' rap and Jayden's story). I love the cast; the actors' expressions were often enough to understand their thoughts.
