  this film will always hold a special place in my heart.
  in the pseudo-documentary excerpts, various characters in the film emphasize how they can’t get Mona, the Vagabond out of their head.... and guess i’ll have the same problem.

  
  (and the fact that sandrine bonnaire's name almost sounds the same as mine.... 😭 makes me wanna watch the rest of her filmography)

  Cassette tapes, secondhand bookstores, sophisticated public toilets. As someone who has recently started buying used books, listens to the songs featured in the soundtrack, struggles with undiagnosed bladder problems, and is currently at quite a low point in her life, I couldn’t ask for a better movie.
