Though the whole narrative was based on the lens of Chinese American (Billi) but the whole movie spoke to me well. My favourite scene is when Billi caught her father and her uncle smoking, she asked whether they want to tell Nai Nai about her illness or not and her uncle replied that “Do you want to tell her because you don’t want to carry the emotional burden on your own.”
