Very long post because this movie is *provocative*
Stress: Absolutely amazing but will never re-watch it because it was so stressful to watch. I gasped at least one every ten minutes. Literally all my worst fears at once — deep water, heights, giant monsters, birds, swimming, blunt force trauma to the head, boating, floods, big dogs, etc. I could go on.
Love: I’m deeply smitten with the cat and was personally close to wailing every time he got stressed or…
I liked this movie. I thought it was solid, and I adore both Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield. They are a super compelling couple.
It’s really quite sad, but it has also made me think more about life, and I’ve been more grateful this week as a result.
Started this when I had a flu which was dumb because it requires focus since there is zero English. Such beautiful filming and beautiful actors
