  this movie was boring and a bit of a drag. i think i was too dumb to understand this, but it was also very dragged out and pretentious. the parts with Jake’s parents was rather interesting, and i fell into the suspense, i wish the whole movie was like that. it was soooooo long and soooooo repeatitive, not my fav ://

  Although this movie has a promising premise with the abstract imagery and unsettling conformity, it fails to rise to the hype that the trailer created. Jesse Eisenberg’s awkward acting and horrible one liners continually remove you from the boring and strung out plot. While this movie is beautifully filmed, and has many trippy scenes that were fun to get lost in, the acting was subpar and the plot got boring fast. Would not recommend.

  This movie is great if you love to talk about what really happened afterwards. It provides all the symbolism and hints you need to figure out what truly happened, bring the search of the philosophers stone into a discussion of what the movie was really about. So awesome and such a creepy and fun watch!!!
