  This was a story about a yearning, horny female anthropologist with stunning outfits and perfect eyebrows and completely reasonable needs and desires who enjoys a pastel de nata or two or three. (No spoilers) (She and I are one)

  Before my maybe pretentious ranting, here are some moments I noted that I’ll hold close and dearly:
  -“Does [losing your vision] scare you?” “No. I’ll get a cat.”
  - The painstaking forced inaction, no treatment or cure. Nothing to do. Best thing to do is fill visual memory
  -“Everyone else could see stars but I couldn’t. It feels like I’m in the void” (Yes!!!!)
  -Mom saying she felt as if she was taking away her son’s innocence by explaining blindness…
