It’s been said numerous times before but as the years go on, this movie feels all the more real. That’s not even acknowledging the fact that they mention the year 2025 verbatim as the year the alien upper class dictators have complete control over the world. This movie was super simple but fun, a total class 80s action movie with a message that strikes true to the heart. I really enjoyed it! Not many flaws to note that aren’t just limitations of its time. Other than the fact that Frank needs to just put on those fucking glasses.

Genuinely way better than I had expected based on how people talked about it for maybe a week then forgot about the movie entirely. Upon my first actual full watchthrough I had a great time and the action was super fun and it was a very nice and simple movie! Sure the plot is basic and most of it is forgettable, the interactions between all the main characters (minus the villain) was very nice to see. And I feel people don’t realize how important this movie may actually be to the greater MCU, showcasing a completely new way for people to cross into other dimensions!

Genuinely such an interesting concept and moral dilemma when it comes to the idea of cloning. Was super fun to watch and was shot beautifully. The pacing was really good but some dialogue became confusing in certain areas or hard to understand. The world and galaxy I guess that was being established obviously parallels ours in many ways but was also weird and I felt more time could’ve been spent on it. But overall super interesting. Not sure if it’s gonna be a movie I’ll watch again anytime soon, but was super cool!
