  I absolutely adored this, I think it is so genius that they were able to make this so funny, and still convey some really progressive and important messages. This was mostly done through the absolute ridiculing of conversion camps, stereotypical gender roles and even straight ideals. For example, the over simplification of gender roles to men = hunting  (lol) and women =cleaning etc obviously provides humour, but also makes the viewer question what gender roles really are, which I think…

  I loved this so much purely because of how imperfect it is. In an age of cgi and ai, it’s so refreshing to see an actual movie set and things that haven’t been edited in. It adds so much rawness to this crazy and whimsical film, and it’s so cool to see an actor actually being able to interact with the characters and see what we are seeing. The puppets may be crazy and unrealistic, but I don’t think that’s the point.
