I finished the book tonight, so naturally I had to watch the movie. I was woefully displeased. Such a poor extrapolation of the book. I know, you can’t take everything from the book and put it in the movie, but I felt like none of the good scenes were there. What’s more, the true essence of the characters were totally lost, and the movie put way too much of an emphasis on violet, rather than making it about them both. Even the acting was subpar. The book was SO much better.
