  Lawrence, the wrath of god

  Just got around to watching this film today and I think not long before snow white and Indonesian horror swept it cause it's already 2 weeks. Idk, the animo of this film in Indonesia but because is titled "OSCAR & Golden Globe" nominee, so the chances to keep screening are pretty high.

  The film itself has an interesting religion-political drama and I believe it might happen there but some exaggeration at the end makes me realize…

  Slowly but surely...

  Herzog mixes the vastness with self-doubt really well. The cinematography is raw and believable. I can feel the exhaustion from finding hope through the handmade raft and their long journey in the jungle. Technical issues like unclear sounds and unmatched editing really bother me, seems the rumors are true about the problematic production of this film.

Also, I think this is the longest suspense of horror cause it stretches from the beginning until near the end.
