  i can't wrap my head around the fact that this was entirely hand-painted! and i thought claymation was tedious!

  if onlyyyyyy the plot came CLOSE to the visuals. it dragged dragged dragged and the ending was abrupt. i didn't like the "murder mystery" feel, and how the story seemed to followed the yellow coat guy more than vincent himself. i guess i just came into this with the expectation that it'd be more biographical

  i'd also like to point out that i stumbled upon this at the library! i had never even heard of it. am i lucky or what?

  wow!! this white director PERFECTLY captured the black experience in sports throughout america🥰

  aside from the over-simplification of such a heavy topic, i just hate football movies. i hate them so much. especially this one. disney just wants to grow the number of blind viewers so they can ultimately make more money... money money money money. it's so blatantly obvious and so disheartening. and you know, that's what I really admire about Miyazaki, he's not like that. i really try my best to be open-minded when it comes to watching anything with my parents, but i'm so done with sports movies

  like that one dog, biggles has also watched enough tv to be able to understand it. she has actually gotten so good at it....... i say this because 5 minutes into the movie she jumped off of my lap. my sources say that she sensed the cat hate from the very beginning and knew this would be a waste of her time
