what a handsome lad. and in suit. with sweat dripping off his forehead.
keeping aside the obvious (toshiro mifune and his charming presence), the film is just a good watch with not a fancy plot or arc. absolutely beautiful cinematics with some lovely dialouges. and oh did I mention a very sweaty in suits toshiro mifune?

The narration is interestingly paced, to say the least. The perspectives shown are beautiful. The first half is a thriller you'd expect and then you'd be lleft puzzled midway, only to come to the devastating realizations as the end nears and questioning altogether everything. always adore an open ending - albeit this one is really bittersweet in either of the ways
