Spring Breakers 2012
Many thoughts but mesmerizing is certainly one of them. Underrated at its release but isn't fully there for me. Not yet (maybe?). It certainly shows how horrid the "American Dream" that Spring Break represents by holding a mirror to its ugly excesses. Kinda lull in the middle but ends on a high note. Especially with images of black bodies being used as a playground for white people's amusement.
