an impeccable movie about finding beauty in one’s life, which, as shown in this film, is the quintessence of our existence. wenders achieves perfection in his quiet and charming way to illustrate the of finding your own way to live. this picture for me is also a great meditation on art and the way of perceiving it through feelings connected with value, which is brought by it to people’s everyday strugle. all of that topped with flawless acting by koji yakusho and his emotions in the last scene. this shit is just so gooooood.
