I didn't hate it but tries soooo hard to be quirky and intelligent. It's neither of those things.

The whole represents the parts and the parts represent the whole; everyone is the same while being radically different; pluralism becomes monism; art imitates life and vice versa. This film was so wacky and funny and I really enjoyed it! It reminded me of an inverse Truman Show; an egotist coming to terms with being a nobody (to the extent that everyone is) constructs a magnum opus around his life to the point that he no longer matters to it. Twisted the absurdist knife a little hard at times; yeah, I get it, we're all gonna die...
