How Do You Know 2010
I realized I couldn’t even remember the name of the movie about halfway through. All I’ve gathered from this is that 1. Paul Rudd is a dream boat (as always), 2. “Never drink to feel better, only drink to feel EVEN better,” and 3. Owen Wilson was really good in Marley & Me so I should probably rewatch it soon. But to be fair, I’m reminded of Marley & Me anytime I see Owen Wilson onscreen. Either that or him saying “wow.” This was not a very memorable or worthwhile watch.

A half star for the sake of nostalgia, but truthfully, this movie didn't live up to what I remember from childhood. I was instantly put off by the racist portrayal of Dong and the cringey gong that sounded every time he appeared on screen. Other than causing everyone to forget Sam’s birthday, the sister's wedding scenes added no value and her decision to marry a man simply because he loved her longer than anyone else had was laughable. The cherry on top was that Sam and Jake knew nothing about each other, so their ultimate romance was not as swoon-worthy as portrayed.
