A film that focuses so much on ambience and aesthetics that it managed to transform a great story into a boring one with flat characters that evoke no great feelings on the viewer.
Count Orlok instead of being an interesting dimensional character just transformed into any generic demon/evil.
Pretty but disappointing. Read the book.
