Daredevil 2003
Mark Steven Johnson’s Daredevil certainly has its visual motifs that scream this was made in the early 2000s with its shiny leather costumes and absurd choreography. I think it’s important to note that Johnson also wrote Jack Frost (1998). In terms of casting, I think Colin Farrell as Bullseye could’ve worked given a better design, better script, and direction. Personally, I thought Ben Affleck did best of what he could as The Man Without Fear, despite the extremely corny playground fight sequence. Thank God for the later adaptation of the character, where Charlie Cox makes Affleck look like an amateur…
